Support
This page is two things: how to reach a person, and the complete list of what you can switch off, correct, export or destroy without reaching anyone at all. The second list is longer, and for most questions it is the faster answer.
How to reach us
Support is by email. There is no in-app chat and no phone line, and we would rather say so than leave you looking for one.
The company operating PeraPlano is the Personal Information Controller for any personal data it actually receives — which, today, means support correspondence and content-free diagnostics, and nothing from your ledger.

Before you write to us
Please do not paste raw notification text into a support message. The text your bank or e-wallet sends you is the most sensitive thing the app handles: on your phone it is encrypted and purged after 30 days, and it is never transmitted anywhere. Pasted into an email it becomes an ordinary message in an ordinary mailbox, and none of that protection follows it.
Describe the problem instead — which provider, roughly when, and what the app got wrong. That is almost always enough, and where it is not we will ask for the smallest thing that is.
Support correspondence is kept for no longer than 24 months after your case is closed, and sooner if you ask for it to be deleted.
Every control you have
Reproduced in full from PeraPlano's internal privacy document. Controls are named with honest verbs — pause, wipe, delete — and every control screen in the app states what it does and what it does not do.
| Control | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Pause listening (global) | Ingest stops entirely until you resume it, and the status changes visibly on Home and in settings. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| Pause per provider | Stop parsing one provider while the rest keep working — pause GCash but keep BPI, for example. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| Listener health | Shows whether the listener is alive, when it last saw an event, and fix guidance specific to your phone maker; a recovery banner appears when tracking was interrupted. | More → Settings; Home banner when degraded |
| Transparency screen (why was this recorded?) | For any automatically recorded transaction, shows the parsed fields side by side with the captured notification text, for as long as that text is retained. | Transaction detail |
| Parser diagnostics | Per-provider parse activity and success rates, so you can see what the pipeline is doing. It runs entirely on your phone; there is nobody else's anything to expose. | More → Settings |
| Review Queue | Confirm or correct every low-confidence parse. Your corrections become rules the app applies from then on. | Transactions tab (badge) |
| Edit anything | Every parsed field is editable: amount, direction, wallet, category, merchant and note. | Transaction detail |
| Export everything | A CSV export of the ledger plus a full structured export of every configuration entity. Available on every tier, because it is a data-portability right rather than a feature. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| Wipe everything | Deletes all on-device data and, where backup was enabled, server copies. The confirmation flow states exactly what will be destroyed. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| Cloud backup toggle (Plus) | Off by default. Turning it on states what syncs; turning it off deletes server copies within 30 days. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| Telemetry opt-out | Stops aggregate diagnostics. No feature is lost. | More → Settings → Privacy |
| App-alert controls | Per-type toggles for the app's own notifications — limits, bills, loans, goals, the review digest, listener health and the payday summary — mirrored with the system notification channels. | More → Settings → Notifications |
| Sign-in identity deletion | In-app and through a web link, as Play policy requires; removes the identity and its server data within 30 days. | More → Settings → Privacy (only exists if a backup identity exists) |
| Consent review | Re-read the disclosure and the privacy notice, and withdraw consent — which is pausing, and wiping if you want it gone. | More → Settings → Privacy |
Your rights under RA 10173, and how to use them
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 gives you these rights. Each one maps to a control that already exists in the app rather than to a request form, because a right you have to ask us to honour is slower than a right you can exercise yourself.
| Your right | How PeraPlano honours it |
|---|---|
| Right to be informed | A layered privacy notice, plus short in-flow explainers shown at the moment of each permission ask. |
| Right to object | Every permission is skippable; ingest can be paused globally or per provider; telemetry can be switched off; consent can be withdrawn at any time. |
| Right to access | Transparency screens show exactly why the app recorded a transaction, for as long as the notification text is retained, plus a full data export. |
| Right to rectification | Every parsed field is editable, Review Queue corrections apply immediately, and those corrections become rules that replay going forward. |
| Right to erasure or blocking | Delete any single transaction; wipe everything on the device and, where backup was enabled, the server copies; turning backup off deletes server copies. |
| Right to data portability | Export everything: a CSV of the ledger plus a full structured export of wallets, limits, goals, loans, bills, recurring patterns, rules and your income profile. |
| Right to damages, or to complain | The Data Protection Officer's contact and the complaint route to the National Privacy Commission are both stated below. |
Data Protection Officer
A Data Protection Officer is appointed before public launch regardless of whether registration thresholds are met. Write to the officer directly about anything on this page, or about a right you want to exercise that the app does not already hand you.
Registration with the National Privacy Commission is our planning position rather than a settled conclusion — which obligations attach, given that the free tier keeps everything on your own phone, is still with Philippine privacy counsel. The status as it stands today is printed below.

Three roles behind this app are unfilled
PeraPlano is built by one person, and three things Philippine data-protection practice expects of an organisation handling personal data do not exist yet. There is no registered company acting as the Personal Information Controller. There is no appointed Data Protection Officer. There is no registration with the National Privacy Commission.
You are reading that here rather than finding it out later. Everywhere on this site where one of those identifiers belongs, the page prints a marker saying the value is required and missing, and a deployment that tried to publish a plausible-looking placeholder instead would refuse to start. An invented controller name or a made-up officer is worse than an admitted gap, because it reads as compliance to everyone who does not check.
This is survivable today for one reason: the app keeps your ledger on your phone and sends none of it anywhere, so there is no company-held copy of anyone's financial data for a controller to be responsible for. It stops being survivable the day cloud backup ships — which is why PeraPlano Plus is not offered for sale until all three exist.
If you are a Philippine privacy practitioner, a Data Protection Officer, or a lawyer who works on RA 10173, and this is the kind of gap you would rather help close than read about, write to the support address below.
Where to write
Complaining to the National Privacy Commission
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your data or your request, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission, the Philippine regulator for the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
We are not printing an address, a phone number or a link for the Commission here. Contact details for a regulator change, and a stale one on a page like this sends someone somewhere that no longer answers. Look the Commission up directly. If you tell us you intend to complain, that is not a reason for us to close your case.
